My mother, Dana Phelps, is a strong, hard working, supportive, person with a lot of personality. She would stop in her tracks to help anyone out, and that is why I look up to her. My mom is someone that always has the clothes cleaned and folded, always makes sure everyone has their homework done, and always makes sure everyone is where they needed to be. She is always there to pick me up from soccer with the questions, “how was practice?” and “how was school today?” Even though I can be moody sometimes, she always finds a way to put up with me. One day, I wish to have the patients like her. Work is very important to her. She is always working over time, making sure everything is done correctly and ahead of time. She stays on top of everything, and is one of the most organized people I know. With a busy schedule, she always makes time for family. She taught me that family is everything. My mom taught me to always be the best version of myself and to always put my best work forward. She always knows how to cheer me up, whether it be tickling me, staring at me until I smile, or giving me constant hugs. She is always there for me and my family. She would sacrifice anything for my family. I have seen her and my family go through tough challenges, and all I can say is, she is the strongest mother I know. A lot of people say I look just like my mom. However one of these days, I wish to be as strong, supportive and hard working as her. To my sweet, loving mom, thank you for being my role model!
