Homecoming had many adaptations including the homecoming court reveal, the night rally and coronation. My favorite adjustment was hosting the night rally at the amphitheater this year, instead of the on the football field. Being on the amphitheater allowed the classes to be more confined into one designated area rather than being on a large football field, causing people to not sit with their classes. Being on the stage also allowed more creativity such as the use of strobe lights, fog machines, and a backdrop. The stage made the rally feel more like a lip sync rally, and also had a great sound system with a set up and outlets for the microphones and speakers. For next year I would like the night rally to be hosted at the amphitheater instead of the football field to allow more of a lip sync and dance competition feel to the atmosphere, as well as allowing more confinement for class decorations.
