What I like best about being a member of leadership - even during a pandemic
Leadership has been a second family to me. Entering leadership as a sophomore I did not know what to expect. I stayed close to the people I knew, which were Malery and Bryan, until I began to get close with my class officers. After bonding at core camp with my classmates, I have never looked back. My leadership family is what makes me want to go to school. They are the people that I can relate to, come to when needed, and the people that make me laugh the most. I have never felt so close to a group of friends that support me as much as the junior class does. This group of friends, and family will do anything for one another. We are there when someone just needs to let the tears come out, there when someone is stuck in drama, and there when someone forgot about an assignment. The juniors and I have so many inside jokes together that I will never forget. Even in a time where we can't see each other as much as we want to, we still make it work. We have become close outside of leadership and love to study together, go to lunch together, and even shop together. The best part about leadership is becoming life long best friends with people that were never expected.
